Jobs

-Web Producer – London

You’ll be managing and leading interactive projects for a wide range of clients, for one of the UK’s leading recruitment communication agency. From microsites to online marketing campaigns, from presentations to interactive kiosks, you will manage the whole process with a sure hand and a cool head. You will have the know-how to de-jargonise the technical and present it to a strong client service team. At the same time, you’ll be able to work with IS and IT as well as the rest of the Interactive team. So that means you need good project management experience as well as web development experience, including front-end coding (html, css, javascript, asp, xml). You will also be adept at developing web architectures, auditing websites, testing usability and planning strategies and online marketing. Knowledge of W3C accessibility and compliance, not to mention web promotion, web analytics and search engine optimisation, is all important. We hardly need to say that you must have passion for all things web, including new technologies and techniques.

Together you’ll harness the power of backend functionality to form truly integrated – and possibly groundbreaking – projects. Have a look at a selection of projects at www.workcomms.com/interactive

-Artworker/Designer

Edinburgh

You will be a lynchpin of the Edinburgh office. This is a small team (just nine of us) with some great clients, such as NCH, ScottishPower, Scottish Enterprise, Munro Consulting, Subsea 7 and AEGON UK. All of our clients have different needs: some are high-volume advertisers; for others, we are building websites or creating brands and communications that are truly integrated. You'll put together the artwork for ads, brochures and other materials, and send them off to publications or to press.

There's also the chance to pick up work for our Manchester and Birmingham offices, where we've got clients like Cadbury, Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue and the Co-operative Group. We'll also ask you to increasingly get involved in design projects, taking work from scamp stage to artwork. Basically you could be working on the full range of work, from ads to exhibition stands, brochures to banners.

We need someone with a good range of skills: as well as quark, photoshop, illustrator, you'll have a real eye for typography and design. You'll take as much pride in making a small ad look great as designing a leaflet or a web page. In fact, you'll be a bit of a perfectionist.

Just a quick note on our Edinburgh office: we recently moved into new offices, in Leith. It's bright, it's white and it feels great.

-Creatives

North West

We say North West, because in November we are moving to brand-new offices in Hale. Here we'll have one of the biggest and strongest teams in the NW, bringing together over 50 people in this office and a further 20 people across Edinburgh and Birmingham. When you combine that with our 100-odd people in London, you can see that you'll be part of something that's pretty special and very successful.

We plan to build on our creative reputation and create an outstanding creative team. So we're keen to talk to copywriters and art directors, teams or singles, who want to come and do some great work. Here you'll have the chance to work on truly integrated projects for the likes of Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue, Boots, Warburtons, Co-operative Financial Services, Applied Biosystems, Cadbury, Rolls-Royce, ScottishPower, NCH and many more.

You may be working in the recruitment industry now; equally you could be in any part of the marketing and creative world; or you could be just out of college. Some of our people have come from B2B, consumer, journalism; others are through and through recruitment creatives. What's really important is that you are a fantastic conceptualiser who's also passionate about craft.

-Traffic/Production

Hale

You could have some print/art buying experience in an agency. Or you might be a trafficker through and through. Here you will be managing a varied workload - scheduling the work for the creative team, buying print, overseeing art buying and generally making sure everything runs on time and to budget.

We are also ready to consider budding creatives who might be straight out of college. If you're organised and ready to learn, this is a great job to get to know everything (and everyone) within our business - and then in 12 months you could be ready to become a full-time creative.
