Lead Digital Designer / Developer

We’re an integrated agency with a client list full of familiar names and a string of awards on our mantelpiece. Because we aim to truly blur the lines between creative and digital, we’re looking for a hybrid designer/developer to lead the creative side of our agency’s digital output. Working directly with writer/art director creative pairings, together you will brainstorm concepts for the online elements of our client’s campaigns. The online aspects can range from global careers websites to Flash games and electronic brochures – but innovation is key for us so you’ll need to have a clear view of where things are heading. You’ll then take your ideas to work with our development team to turn them into the real thing. You will also be responsible for developing the more complex Flash elements. Our client base is second to none, ranging from emergency services to chocolate brands to global blue chips, so you’ll be working on a variety of exciting projects.

Required technical skills:

  • Expert with Actionscript programming - specifically with exposure to AS3
  • Strong experience working with Flash cookies, Flash video streaming and integration of XML with Actionscript
  • Experience working with Papervision 3D is a bonus
  • Expert with Photoshop, and familiar with producing mocked up website designs for clients to review and for HTML programmers to develop
  • Strong understanding of website usability and accessibility from a design perspective
  • Good knowledge of the capabilities of HTML and CSS and how it impacts on the design requirements.

Business Development Executives, Manchester/London

Opportunities exist within the Business Development team for experienced Telemarketing/Lead Generation Executives. Our Business Development Executives approach prospective clients to introduce the employer marketing and recruitment services of Armstrong Craven and Work Group on a global basis, to unearth business opportunities and generate leads and appointments for the external business development teams.

Ideally you will be at a stage where you have worked in an outbound relationship building telesales/marketing operation (e.g. media sales, market research, direct marketing, recruitment or marketing communications or selling solutions to HR professionals ), have a track record of generating business over the phone and want more than standard telesales/marketing role.
